Shrule Zn-Pb Project

The Shrule project covers 41,407 Ha of an under-explored portion of Waulsortian Limestone deemed highly prospective for zinc mineralization.  The property is SW of New Boliden's Slieve Dart prospect which has been documented to exhibit 11 significant zones of mineralization including:

  • 0.8 m @ 6.2% Zn, 3.2% Pb and 34% Fe
  • 2.3 m @ 6.8% Zn including 0.7 m at 14.29% Zn and 1.97% Pb
  • 2.5 m @ 5.4% Zn

Vein-style mineralization of up to 43.6% Zn, 72.1% Pb & 224 g/t Ag has also been identified.

The property is considered structurally attractive with Waulsortian Mudbank Limestone well developed to the south and east of Slieve Dart prospect. In the past 35 years little modern exploration has been conducted and only four drillholes have tested for the target horizon.
